Chaudhary Chaku House

The House is named after Chaudhary Chaku Khan, The Founder of Chakwal. Chakwal was founded in 1530, shortly after Mughal Emperor Zaheer ud Deen Babur annexed the area of Dhanni and appointed Raja Sidhar Khan, the Chaudhary of Taluka Dhan 84. Chaku Murid and Karhan were all sons of Raja Sidhar who founded these villages and latter named them after his sons.

Raja Aurangzeb House

This House is named after Khan Bahadur. Raja Aurangzeb Khan (E.A.C) The first Chakwalian to become an officer in British civil servis in 1891. He joined the service in 1891 and instrumental in developing the colonies on the Chenab. He bacame one of the most repected civil servants of his times and the cities of Lyallpur was only established due to his efforts and hence, he was given the title of Khan Bahadur in 1895. His excellency is the viceroy conferred on him the title of "Raja Sahib" as a mark of heriditary distinction.

Khan Sarfaraz House

The house is named after Raja Sarfaraz Ali Khan, the first MLA from Chakwal. Khan Sahib as he is a widely known had great concern for the cause of education in the area. He patronized schools and gave generous scholarships to students throughout his life, but his biggest contribution and service to the area was the establishement of Government College in 1949 for which he not only donated one hundered thousand rupees, but 112 kanals of his most expensive and centrally located land.

General Akbar House

The house is named after Pakistan Army, General Muhammad Akbar Khan (O.B.E) the first muslim and first Chakwali to become a General in the Royal Indian Army and late, in the later Pakistan Army. General Akbar was awarded 'Order of the British Empire' for his bravery in the Second World War.

Rashid Minhas House

The house is named after Pilot Officer Rashid Minhas Shaheed(N.H), the only officer in P.A.F decorated with the highest military honour in Pakistan due to his valiant services in the 1971 war.
